Thomas and Friends

Lancaster, PA really seems to have all the cool stuff to do! A few weeks ago we went to Dutch Wonderland, and today, we went to the Strasburg Railroad where we had a "Day out with Thomas." Charlie posing in front of Gordon, Percy and James. He thinks this is cool. You should have seen his face when he saw Thomas!Daddy and Charlie watching a train come into the station...

Here we are riding on Thomas. He was in total shock I think and it took him a while for the whole thing to really sink in!
He thought it was very cool to give the tickets to the conductor. When he "plays Thomas", he always makes sure someone gets tickets and gives them to the conductor.
Watching the cows and horses out the window...
Posing in front of the real Thomas!
Thomas pulling out of the station with another load of families!
We tried to get Charlie to take our picture, but he couldn't really get it, plus I imagined the camera flying out the window. We settled for an "extended arm" shot!
Charlie snoozing on the "regular" train, not pulled by Thomas but still very cool!
A fun day all done!

Hey Sara... Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. Very kind words. I wrestled with the decision for a while and really didn't want to give it up.

But, let me tell you... Now that I have, I've had 2 PHENOMENAL runs. One 3 miler yesterday and a 6 miler today. I think I'd rather run fast than long. That becomes a problem when marathon training.

So, you ran the marathon with walking pneumonia???!!! I've really got to catch up on this story. That's insane/awesome/insane (did I say insane?). Very cool!
