So we've had some excitement around here that has kept us busy. Our little growing peanut "Grover" is causing us some stress. Alex and I celebrated our anniversary (which is actually today, 10/3) on Wednesday. We came home from dinner (thanks Zayda for babysitting!) and I had some bleeding. Never fun to see when you are pregnant. Long story short, we spent all day Thursday in the PETU (pregnancy evaluation and treatment unit) where we learned that Grover is fine but I had a bleed between the uterus and the placenta. It's been stressful, my activities are severely limited at home in an attempt to let me stay in work as long as possible rather than moving right to bed rest. No lifting anything heavier than a gallon of milk. Charlie weighs 35 pounds. So we're working on changing the way we do things around the house. Luckily most of my patients at work weigh far less than five pounds so I'm good with that. I just want it all to be okay and for the bleeding to stop! It's very scary because I can't feel the baby yet to reassure me that all is well! So here's pictures of the little baby. It is growing ahead of schedule now so the placenta is working and nourishing "it".
Now onto pictures of Charlie. He's been an active little guy lately, more so than usual. Talking up a storm and singing lots too! We made some macaroni jewelry (he painted the noodles and then strung it onto ribbon when it was dry). The "earrings" were intended to be bracelets but he decided to hang them on his ears. Very cute!

Here he is intently watching the "Ms. Spider show". It's a cute show and he loves it...it is about bugs though so I tend not to pay too much attention!

And here he is playing with his new Tow Mater truck. Christy's sister in law Jamie gave this to him. Her son had outgrown it and she knows how much Charlie loves Tow Mater. He woke up this morning and immediately wanted his "mamer". It talks and says all kinds of funny things. Thanks Jamie!
That's all. We'll try and keep the baby drama to a minimum, and post some more pictures later this week!

Oh my gosh that second picture of him watching the 'spider show' (eeww) he looks exactly like Michael- his hair even looks red!!! I miss my little Charlie! I can't wait to see you guys for longer than an hour next weekend!
Congrats on your Anniversary!
I'm keeping you in my prayers Sara. Take it easy, and keep you and Grover safe.
Charlie hasn't changed a Bit! he is just as cute as ever!!!! Hugs to Alex too!
A belated congratulations on your anniversary and of course we're keeping all of our body parts crossed that everything is OK with Grover. And, like you, Sharon finds work to be less stress on her body than home is (Hallie's a bit smaller than Charlie--she probably weighs about a bit under 30 lbs--but she doesn't understand what's going on with mommy at all, we think, and certainly doesn't get the idea that kicking mommy is not exactly a good idea right now).
