So we started Aaron in daycare last week. We gave him a week of us being home from the cruise to hang out at home (which is when he got sick) and then he started at the same school Charlie goes to last tuesday. He's been there many times either picking up or dropping off Charlie. he also hangs out in the class when I read storied to the class or Alex plays his guitar. So he was happy to be there and happy to play with all the toys in the class. We talked to the teacher, unpacked his stuff, and said goodbye...he wasn't bothered. He didn't even care we left. I was good and didn't call, and picked him up around three. They said he was surprisingly good, very little crying, didn't nap well (they sleep on cots not cribs...I knew he wouldn't sleep well initially), but he was generally good.

The next day, he still didn't cry when I left but had a rough day, more crying, but better napping!

Day three (he only goes three days a week), he cried when I left (very briefly...I checked back in with him 5 minutes later and he was happily playing) and that broke my heart...he still didn't eat well, and didn't nap well, but was engaged in the activities and happy all day! So we'll see how this week goes!
I can't believe he's 19 months old already, I can't believe how big he's gotten, and that he's our last!
The pictures are of him on his first day of "school"...he really didn't want to cooperate!
