2010 in review

One reason I love this blog (and blogs in general) is that I can easily look back on the past year and see all that has happened. Here's my family's year in review:

~We had record breaking snow last winter from December to February
~We adopted a dog for two weeks and gave her back when it was obvious she'd never be potty trained (maybe you can't teach an old dog new tricks!)
~I left Aaron for the first time when I went to Vegas for a nursing conference
~Alex and I ran the Broad Street run in record heat and humidity
~My niece Kailani was born
~Alex and I went on a Caribbean cruise and left both boys with my parents
~We had a record hot summer
~I took the boys to New Hampshire by myself to visit my family there...so much fun!
~We had the Visionwalk in October
~We redid lots of thing in our house (stairs, entryway, playroom and kitchen)
~I found out that my running "career" was ended after spending many months training for a marathon...still trying to rehab the foot:(
~Alex secured SSD and was able to get some of his masters' degree paid for through BVS
~Alex took three quarters of classes towards his masters and has straight A+'s

Aaron:
~Started 2010 with a fall down the stairs and his first ambulance ride
~First haircut
~First Birthday in March, party followed in April
~Bronchiolitis and Pneumonia
~Croup (second Ambulance trip)
~Started speech therapy and graduated out of physical therapy
~learned to walk in June
~Spoke his first words

Charlie:
~Developed some amazing artwork, lots of creativity expressed
~saw his first play, "If you give a mouse a cookie"
~Went fishing for the first time
~Went camping for the first time
~Went to Dutch Wonderland
~Adopted James the bunny in October
~He turned 5 years old!!!!!

It was a busy year, but so much better than 2009 was...can't wait to see what 2011 has in store for us!

Sara,

I tried to post a comment but I don't think it went through. Maybe because it was too lengthy.

Love your blog and the great pictures and adventures of the boys. Miss you all. Love Evelyn
